The Tin of Sardines

A store cupboard staple, given a rather stylish place on the wall. The Tin of Sardines by Lode Prints is a playful linocut in rich red, its bold lines capturing four neatly nestled fish beneath a curled tin lid. Full of charm, it brings colour and a little wit to everyday living.

Handmade in our London studio, the frame is hand painted in Farrow & Ball’s De Nîmes, a beautifully muted blue that complements the warmth of the print. A generous oatmeal linen mount adds natural texture, while a pop of dusty red around the artwork draws the whole composition together.

Perfect for a kitchen, breakfast nook or dining room, this is a cheerful little tribute to good food and the pleasure of simple things.
