The Nautilus Studies

A beautifully decorative pair of antique shell prints, celebrating the intricate forms and extraordinary natural pattern of the sea. Richly coloured in soft reds, inky blues and warm neutrals, each shell has the wonderful character and patina of an original antique illustration.

Each print is encased in a handmade gold leaf-effect frame, chosen to bring warmth and a sense of age to the artwork. A generous pale autumnal brown mount is finished with a contrasting soft blue inner mount, picking up the delicate tones within the shells and giving the pieces their distinctive, layered finish.

Designed to feel as though they might have been discovered in an old natural history collection, The Vintage Shells bring colour and character to both traditional and contemporary interiors. Particularly beautiful hung together as a pair, they also make a charming statement individually.
