The Continents are reprints of some very old maps first published in 1683. We found these beautiful original antique prints at an antiques fair and we knew we had to have them! We have reprinted this with careful editing to bring them back to life and encased them in a matt brown handmade frame with single mount of rich blue.
The antique prints were taken from a book published by Alain Mallet and highlights the European understanding of the world and its continents in the 17th century. These prints work wonderfully in just about any room and add interest and intrigue for all those who see them.
