Antique London

When we came across this pair of original antique lithographs taken from an estate sale, we just knew we had to have them! Having both spent so much time in Chelsea and also Somerset House it has been an absolute joy to work on these... so much so I almost didn't want to let them go! 

The prints are of a view from the Royal Hospital of Chelsea and dates back to 1751 and the detailing on this lithograph is truly spectacular, from the swans in the Thames to the cargo boats beyond, there is always something new to notice.  The second is of a view of Somerset House with St. Marys church in the Strand from 1753.
